Ok here's our poem for the week. Everyone is invited to read! Let's see how many different versions we can collect.
Due Date: Saturday 26th of November
This is a short one, so please do the intro as follows:
"The Cow, by Robert Louis Stevenson. Read by [your name] for librivox dot org".
And at the end feel free to put "recorded on [date] in [location]".
********************
The Cow, by Robert Louis Stevenson
The friendly cow all red and white
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might,
To eat with apple-tart.
She wanders lowing here and there,
And yet she cannot stray,
All in the pleasant open air,
The pleasant light of day;
And blown by all the winds that pass
And wet with all the showers,
She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers.

Don't worry about the id3 tags.
When you're done, post your file here or use http://yousendit.com to send it to kara[at]nyip[dot]net -- or, simply email it to me as an attachment -- it's so tiny!
Try to get some kids to record this one, too. Hey Vee, now's your chance to do some mooing!
Happy reading,
Kara

To err is human, to moo bovine! I'll knock one out tomorrow night. (My family is going to visit my parents the next few days, so I'm going to have plenty of recording time...)

Yup, I figured I'd give the job to the first person (not Hugh or me) who submits a recording of this one... Hurry up Paula! ;-)

Hey vee -- you're the first non-hugh, non-kayray reader to submit a file, so you get to choose next week's poem if you want! Try to post next Sunday, following the format here. Let me know if you need a hand.
