Hi Chris, it sounds fine but I think it would fit better in the Short Story Collection. Could you submit it there?Chris Caron wrote:Title: Fog Patterns

Hallo! I've uploaded my first REAL story.
Title: The York Mystery
Author: Countess Orczy
File: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/ge/shortmyst007_yorkmystery_mlh.mp3

I left a "tail" of silence on it--like 6 seconds. I hope is this enough.
You can just catalog me as "Mary Hedengren," if you'd like.

Thanks for this - unfortunately, I can't mark it PL OK yet. It sounds like you did some rather heavy noise-cleaning on it, and the metallic artifacts that come from this overlay your voice. They spike every couple of seconds and are so pronounced that they actually hurt my ears. I'm sorry, but I had to stop listening to what I'm sure will otherwise be a fine recording. - Now, we should be able to fix this. Do you still have the original version of your recording, prior to sound-editing?
Oh, and silence at the end should be 10s for recordings over 30 minutes (we tried this - some players cut off the end of recordings and this obviously prevents it).
