Here is where you can find chapter 27 :

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=3E8F532A0731A53E

It runs for 1:25:29  . I could not make it any shorter.
I'm not very happy with it (quite monotonous and not very expressive :( ) but I don't know whether I'll have the capacity, the courage or the time to do any better (it's taken me ages already!).
So, if you don't hear from me again about that, this will be it!

I'd like to read Chapter 29 of Jane Eyre. This will be my first reading on Librivox.

If 29 is taken, I'll read any chapter that's left.

Jennifer, chapter 9 that you sent is way too low with my volume on medium. I'm going to see what I can do to increase the volume (and the validator can do some of it), but see what you can do to increase your volume in the future.

Chapter 34 and 27 received.

Becky, you can have chapte 29.

Chapter 36: I am not sure I am entirely pleased with the accent I adopted for the inn host. Can someone listen to just a short bit and give me some feedback, e.g., is it easy to understand or spoken too quickly? is the tone of my voice too grating?

Chapter is 24'13"

Thanks!

The accent sounds fine to me. :D If you want to hear a truly appalling accent take a listen to chapter 19 when you get a chance. Being a female trying to do a male voice trying to be a female is not something I would recommend. I kept having the feeling I sounded more like a muppet.

If it's not yet claimed, I can take chapter 30. A question, how would you like St. John pronounced? (in the A&E version it's sort of slurred together like sin-gin). Let me know what you'd like, I'm easy.
