My pronunciation might not always be right but "Jane Eyre" really is one of my long time favourites. I can't miss the opportunity to be part of it, he!

As long as you sound like you know what you're doing with your pronunciation, very few listeners will know the difference

I have a couple of questions.

Chapter 21 is about 53 minutes, recorded. Should I split it into two parts? If so, what I should I say at the end/beginning of the split?

Also, I never thought about it till reading aloud-do I pronounce "-shire" as "blankshire" ?

I believe in England its pronounced "Sher" - "Blanksher" As to the recording size- an MC will have to help you there

Yeah, 53 minutes is fine. We try to keep recordings under an hour, but even if they go over an hour, one over an hour long recording in a book is OK.
