May I have a go at chapter 27 ?

My pronunciation might not always be right but "Jane Eyre" really is one of my long time favourites. I can't miss the opportunity to be part of it, he!

As long as you sound like you know what you're doing with your pronunciation, very few listeners will know the difference :)

27 is yours :)

I'm new, as well, and I'd like to record chapter 28. I'll get started ASAP.

Thanks!

I have a couple of questions.

Chapter 21 is about 53 minutes, recorded. Should I split it into two parts? If so, what I should I say at the end/beginning of the split?

Also, I never thought about it till reading aloud-do I pronounce "-shire" as "blankshire" ?

I'd appreciate any help =] Thanks!

I believe in England its pronounced "Sher" - "Blanksher" As to the recording size- an MC will have to help you there :)

Yeah, 53 minutes is fine. We try to keep recordings under an hour, but even if they go over an hour, one over an hour long recording in a book is OK.

Well, I pronounced it correctly then, hooray! I was just confused by the dash. I just need to do a little editing and I'll post it - probably tomorrow.

Thanks for the help =]
