COMPLETE - Richard III by William Shakespeare - ek
Thanks, wildemoose. I did the British thing too - for better or worse. You're in the MW.

This Brit was totally convinced!I went back and forth on the accent, and in the end it seemed more natural to try to do British. If it sounds weird or awful, please please let me know

I'm glad to hear it! I'm married to a Brit so the accent is in my ears quite frequently, but my husband says all my accents come out sounding Northern Irish.Dave in the Fax wrote:This Brit was totally convinced!I went back and forth on the accent, and in the end it seemed more natural to try to do British. Well, I told myself I'd never do this, but everyone else was doing it, and I'm easily led...I tried an accent. I was just holding it for a friend, I swear!
Please, please tell me if I should stop, and I'll re-record. We'll never have to speak of this again. It's only 47 seconds, so it shouldn't scar anyone too badly, I hope.

For the second and third citizens, I'd prefer that they're read by two different actors, so that there's no confusion for the listener. So I'm keeping you in as the second citizen (in the MW) but not the third - thank you so much for your recordings!

NOTE to all Readers:
It would be helpful to the DPL and Editor (I'm sure), if there were some indication of Act and Scene changes in the files.

Hi aradlaw,
gloriana, would you mind marking my sections as complete? Thanks!
Regarding the changes of scenes, maybe we could insert the same tone between scenes as in Julius Caesar here: http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21788 ?
I've listened to the sentence five times, but to the best of my knowledge, there is no extra "to" in there. I'd be happy, however, to take suggestions to improve any improper pronunciation that might be due to my German accent!aradlaw wrote:third messenger Act 4, sc4 - read "My Lord, to the army of great Buckingham,-"
