COMPLETE : Fairy Tales, by The Brothers Grimm - CL/kr
Thank you everyone for your work so far. I am continuing the search for new voice talent.
Also, both dandyrandy and jhillkaucer would like to read The Golden Bird. Jhillkaucher asked for it first, but also asked for three stories. If you can work this out together please do so, if not I will decide later this week.
Thanks again,
Todd

Hey Todd,
It'll be really helpful if you'll edit the first post to say DONE for the completed files (see the thread for Treasure Island as an example).

Thanks! Off to read about the Wolf and the Seven Little Kids...

Here's the wolf and the seven little kids:

If you'll give me another, I'd love to read "The Mouse, The Bird, and The Sausage" -- I have no idea what it's about but I love that title!

I think, if you check the first post, it lists all the stories available, and then there's a name following if someone's claimed it.
Not sure how up to date the list is, so it might be worth picking a couple of titles, mebbe, and then reading through this thread to check they've not been nobbled already. It does look like there's quite a few to choose from though - hooray!

There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
I just got my podcast listed by Amy Graham in Contentious and found your podcast listed in her OPML.
I would like to help the library and just love the brothers Grimm. I grew up reading a big book of Grimm with my sister.
What can I do to assist?

What a way to start! I misspelled the name of the person who referred me. For the record her name is Amy Gahran, editor of Contentious.
Sorry Amy.

I'd like The Goose Girl and Mother Holle. Two of my favorites!

Heya Stacy!
Well ... the first post has a link to the etext source we're using, and all the stories contained therein. Pick one you like (or more than one, of course) ... if it doesn't have a username* next to it, it's available. Post here which you've chosen.
Eyeball the About Recording page, and then have at it!
Once you've recorded and edited it, post a link to it here - either storing it in your own webspace, or else using YouSendIt (I'd suggest using your own email address, then posting here the link they give you) and the book organiser will be along to grab it and fold it in with the other stories read.
Then ... pick some more ... rinse ... repeat
I'm pretty new here myself, but I'm fairly sure that's the basics
* In addition to the ones listed in the first post, The Golden Goose, The Goose Girl and Mother Holle are also reserved.

I hope nobody minds that I did this one - I had 5 minutes and needed something to read
I'm perfectly happy to let someone else get it archived if it was reserved - but the list said it was open.

Hope it's ok...

Hi Todd, I was going through the list and just pulled out all the ones that were claimed/done already. I also noticed that chapter 15.3 was missing from the list (How Partlet Died and was buried)
Hope this is more helpful than confusing
