I raised this question some time back, and the advice was to read it as written; in other words, don't turn G- into God, and don't turn D- into Damn. Perhaps others have some better ideas. But this is, after all, Victorian writing, not contemporary writing.

firstly could you do about 1 min. test of your equipment, and technical stuff and upload it - http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/HowToRecord - submitting a test recording - its so much easier to teak things on this that on a whole chapter and the formats etc have to be right for us to use the file.
What name would you like to have in the catalogue - mostly people choose forum name or real name?
