Section 16:

Well read! There are just some issues with the intro and outro:

0:03 - need to say "volume 2"

0:18 - personal web address should go at the end of the recording instead of the beginning.

0:24 - need to say "volume 2"

0:26 - need to say "edited by William Byron Forbush"

14:33 - don't need to say "this is a librivox recording" - just "recording by David Bercot, [web adddress]" is sufficient

1 second of silence at the end; needs to have 10.

No problem. After I had finished uploading the file to you, I discovered that I had read from the Gutenberg text instead of the nice text you had furnished me with the proper introduction, etc.

That will be easy to clean up.

I've made the corrections you asked for and have uploaded the corrected file.

URL: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/km/bookofmartyrs2_16_foxeforbush.mp3

Length: 41:57 min.

I should have Section 23 to you later this week.

PL OK on section 4.

I've heard that story about the man who clapped in the flames before. :)

Great!

I've renamed the file to http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/km/bookofmartyrs2_23_foxeforbush.mp3 (we don't need the "pt 3" in there). No time to listen to it right now, but it's in the Magic Window.

Thanks!

I PM'd the reader of a couple sections 2 weeks ago, and she hasn't picked up the PM yet. So I'm orphaning her sections.

Any takers?

I just realized I totally missed PL'ing your section 23, David. OOPS! Well, it's PL OK, so you may now rest easy.

Hi I am new and would love to read a chapter of Foxe's Book of Martyr's if any are needed. Are there any orphans at this point? Thanks!

Welcome, sammson! I'll sign you up for section 21. I'm looking for a fast turnaround on these sections, since the project is over the target completion date. I'd appreciate it if you could get it done within a week.

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname, some their real name) and a web site, if you have one. CLICK HERE for an example of what I'm talking about.

Since this is your first recording, you may want to submit a shorter clip (a minute or two) first, so that we can make sure your technical aspects are all correct. It's easier to correct them before recording a section than after. ;)

Great! I should be able to get this done within a week. I actually downloaded audacity and did a test run (with chapter 22) and just my built-in microphone before I posted here. It's got some stammers and halts but maybe you could listen to it as a sample (to see if anyone would want to listen to me for more than a couple seconds.) :D If so, where/how should I upload it? To the public ftp I've seen mentioned?

Oh, and I totally forgot to reply to your other questions. Kinda excited/nervous I guess...

My name is Jason Justice and that would be fine for my Catalog name. My Web site is http://www.sammson.com

Thanks!
