I can take section 07. Let me know if that's okay.

Of course Abigail, section 7 is all yours!!

Since you are new to Librivox, may I suggest you record and submit a short (30 sec or so) test recording to make sure you have all your recording and technical issues ironed out? Just place the link to your test file in this thread, and we can go from there..!!

Attention all volunteers for this book!

Due to unforseen circumstances, I will be nowhere near a computer until roughly 20 July. Go ahead and volunteer and post your submissions, but please be patient with me while I am away. I will update the magic window after 20 July when my life will (hopefully) return to normal..!!!

hi rjhargrav - beautifully read! However, we do convert stereo recordings to mono; it doesn't seem to make much aural difference, and we save space and bandwidth.

Also, there is a hiss in the background, but it cleans up nice; Kristine and/or Joe should easily be able to take care of it.

Okay, I'll do that. Might be a few days...

I just copied the provided text on the LibriVox website.

This is my first attempt at recording, though I did post a well-received test earlier this week.

I'll start with sections 26 and 27.
