I have just uploaded Robert Silverberg's Postmark Ganymede. Not one of his best, I'm afraid, but this is my first recording here so I wanted something fairly short.

My name is tabithat
Length is 17:20
URL http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lb/postmarkganymede_silverberg_TT.mp3

Source is http://www.gutenberg.org/files/25629/25629.txt

Please let me know if I've done anything wrong.

Heads-up for Lucy and Gregg:

I'll PL this collection since my name is on it, but this will be my last PL for the Sci-Fi stuff for a while. Please don't carry me forward to collection 18.

I want to focus on recording a book, next.

Thanks,

Epistomolus – Okay. Thanks for sticking in for 17. I’ll advertize for a new proof-listener.

guinia1 – I await your Wells...

julicarter - Thanks for the offer! You can start right off with these stories if you like. After PLing a story just post a msg in this thread to that effect and I'll take it from there. Let me know if you need any instruction or help...

Epistomolus - You can get back to reading if you like! See above.

Lucy - Please list julicarter as DPL.

Thanks everybody;

That's great, julcarter. Thanks for stepping in. If you want help, just let me know (I already have the files on my iPod :-)

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll leave the PL in your capable hands.

03 Belly Laugh by Randall Garrett
Great job -- no problems. (author mismatch has already been noted on the thread)

04 Toy Shop by Harry Harrison
two very small stumbles (probably don't need editing)
07:39 slipped the ring over his finger and started to step, step back
08:17 let me show you how to, to do it
(Feedback for albatross, since he asked: Very nice! Only concern was just at last 2 sentences, I think you moved away from mike. Volume still ok, it just drops. Liked your character voices and found them distinct.)

More later today.

01 The Good Neighbors by Edgar Pangborn
02 The Vortex Blaster by E. E. “Doc” Smith

Both finished, no problems with either. (Should I be enjoying it so much?)

Lucy – I have re-uploaded BellyLaugh with new filename and ID3 tags. http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lb/bellylaugh_garrett_jn.mp3
Please delete earlier versions.

guinia1 – Thanks for the Wells!

julicarter – I don’t know what other BCs demand, but on my forum you get to enjoy yourself…

Thanks;

Gregg Margarite
