I'll take chapters 80 - 88. This is my first time volunteering, but I've been a professional voice artist for a few years already...my way of giving back....hope u guys enjoy it:) And I doubt my South African Accent (I live in RSA) will be too bad...would u suggest I try Standard American Accent?

Hello,

I signed up for section 32, chap. 163, but I don't think I'll be able to get it done even though it's short. I'm having an asthma flare-up, so I'm cutting back on some of my recording. And since this one has a deadline that's tight, it'd be better if someone else took my section.

I apologize; things have been hectic around here with my stepdad being in the hospital (he's doing better; they found E. coli in his bladder, due to his kidneys not functioning as well as they should; so they're working on fixing that & starting to give him shots of some kind to help his blood count stay up; he might get to come home on Monday). Thanks for any good thoughts & prayers for Elmer & my Mom & all the family. I appreciate it!

Again, sorry for having to give up my section. Thanks for understanding!

Hi MathewAlexander and welcome to Librivox :D

It is a bit unusual to claim 9 sections at once. I see that you have already claimed several sections in The Woodlanders. I hope you don't mind that I sign you up for the 80 and 81 to begin with. You are very welcome to claim more sections when these are done.
It is a good idea to make a test recording first, as Luciburg suggested in the other project. Only to see if the tech things (kbps, Hz, ... ) are OK.

Different accents are very welcome here. You can read with your natural accent or any other accent you like.

I'm sorry to hear that you are ill. Take care of yourself and get well soon.

I apologise, but I'm relinquishing my claim on section 041. I really need to start studying for next year, and I don't have time to get it completed. I thought I'd be able to edit it this week, but that hasn't happened and this is the deadline I set myself for getting LV stuff done.
So little space, so much to say.

Thanks for letting us know, Lucy.
You are much better organized than I am. I would try to do both and probably mess up both.
Good luck and success for your studies. :D
