Hi! This is my first time but I'm extremely interested. I'd like to do 21 and 22 if they're still available. :)

Rainer, are you still watching?
What on earth is up with the file upload system??? I tried uploading all the North Wind chapters that have come in so far, and it worked fine until I got to the last few -- then it started adding random characters onto the front of the filename, subsequently giving me error messages because the file names were too long!
(Come to think of it, maybe this discussion should go to one of the technical fora... oh, well.)

It was five o'clock in the morning (my time), so excuse me, I didn't .
Hmm, you sent the chapter 12 at 20:33 (server time), and it is in the temporary folder. I think the transfer was interrupted by sending in last of the three files, chapter 14. I didn't check the button for the option that files can be overwritten, therefore it added these random characters to the files to prevent overwriting when you sent chapter 12 again. I allowed this now and also extended the maximum length of the file name. It should work now. Thanks for trying this out (you were the first one)!

Greetings,

Rainer

All the files submitted so far are now on the server. You can see them by using the link on the uploader.

Hi Brie,
I've only listened to Ch. 21 so far, but it sounds great! You read at a very nice pace, and all around, you're off to an excellent start. :-) Thanks for reading, and feel free to pick up more chapters if you like!

Fab, thank you, Lyra! I'm butting in here because Rainer is away this week and I'm looking after his projects. He'll let you know that he's received it ok when he's back! :)

Hi Meredith,

I've now moved on to solo project number 2. I just wanted to let you know that my offer to take on orphaned chapters still stands if you have any as you approach your deadline. If that's the case, send me a PM as I'm not checking this thread very often.

I have started another Baum title (this one non-Oz) called Sky Island. It's a fun book.

By the way, 27 is on the way! See here:

Well, I've finished Chapter 28. The whole chapter is a fairy tale; it was fun to do! But long - 43:53. I think this is the longest chapter I've narrated for Librivox!

Here it is:
