My reply would be that if it's not too much of a hassle, re-encoding it to MP3 is a solution which I know would work.

OK, I re-encoded it to MP3. I also uploaded it to the web-link you gave me. Hopefully it is where it should be.

Rerecording is in no way necessary - but you solved this problem without my help, so what should I say :D . Only that reencording reduces the quality, but only slightly, you normally won't hear any difference (if your original ogg file was of a much better quality, you can send it and I'll reencode it).
By the way, I received your reencoded file and it's already in the project folder: http://librivox.prolegomena.org/upload/northwind/

Greetings,

I just got a microphone for my PC and am eager to read. I'll do chapters 17 and 18. I should have time to record them tomorrow.

Fantastic -- welcome, bigmommabird! I'll sign you up. Looking forward to hearing your reading.

Looks like this thread needs to be moved to "readers found"... :-)

I just uploaded chapter 19..... Also, I re-uploaded chapter 20. There was a glitch in one of the phrases that I corrected. Let me know if they arrived ok.

Chapter 37 - 9:03 - 8.29 MB

Pretty confident this one's okay, but give it a listen and let me know if I need to change anything.

Chapter 36 needs some rerecording as it contains a few glaring mistakes. I'll
try to take care of that within this next week or so. It's been a lot harder than I thought it'd be to find moments to record in when someone's not coming or going through the doors or starting a telephone conversation.

Hi all,
Just a little nudge from your coordinator -- how are things coming? 2 months + 1 week until our second deadline!
Thanks to all of you who have completed chapters, and to those who will complete them soon. ;-) I'm so excited that this project is nearing completion!

I'm working on mine. I'm in the middle of finals right now, so everything is getting a bit pushed back -- but I definitely haven't forgotten! :)
