Eep, I thought it was a translation!

Ah, I see -- I will listen a bit later on, but I'm sure it will be fine :)

Hey, Alex-

Sorry that I havn't uploaded the chapters yet- no surprise that I'd get swamped with work just when I budgeted time for the reading. I've got major projects due this week, but this weekend I should have a chance to finally buckle down and record/edit the three chapters. I'll upload as soon as I'm finished.

A heads up to all book coordinators: I?ve updated the guidelines for how to be a book coordinator: http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=425

Probably the only new information you will need is this:
Collect the following information for every file: reader's name, reader's webpage url (if applicable), runtime in hour/minute/second format --- 00:32:14. Save this information in a text document (Notepad, MS Word, etc.) to be emailed to us later. You can have the readers get this information to you by posting it in the thread, sending a private message, or sending an email, whatever works.
This shouldn?t take much extra time and will make the cataloging process much smoother and quicker. Thanks!

Folks,

I've been swamped. I'm sorry.

I have a lot of chapters sitting on my harddrive from other people that I really don't want to waste.

Accordingly, I'm going to put the unrecorded chapters up for people to offer on them (including the ones currently allocated to me).

Hopefully we can get this finished RSN.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey Alex, it's nice to see you again!

Y'know, if you want, one of us can take over all the work of coordinating this book for you. Annie (librarylady) is your "official" Meta-Cooordinator, but if she doesn't want to take over I'd be glad to. Upload the files you've collected so one of us can get them, and you can wash your hands of the whole project --- if you so desire :)

Hope your life settles down soon so we'll see you around here more often!

Kara, if you are willing to coordinate this I'd really appreciate it. Less than a week till classes start up again and I'm hesitant to take on a new book coordination project until I've finished some others. Just let me know, thanks!

Yup, no problem Annie :)

You can change the initials to mine, if you want me to Meta-Co as well.

Hmm...will I be doing my file as section 4 (journey_interior_earth_04_verne.mp3 ) or doing a separate file for each chapter?

Just chapter 12 and editing to do now!!

I am a newbie on the forum, and this will be my first attempt. I hope to upload these chapters today or tomorrow. Thanks for the opportunity - I'm excited to be joining this team!
