Here's my last file, #18, Part 7 of The Return.

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/lz/talesofunrest_18_conrad.mp3

Time: 22.29

The story is so incredibly painful, but probably why I thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you so much!

Sorry, I've just seen that quite a few people have asked to read the same sections I asked for.

Hi Olaf,
No - sorry about not responding before. Section 10 & 11 are yours! The previous persons who wanted to read this story had to step out, so the sections were orphaned.

I think you are new to LV? Welcome! Your location even suggests that you are Dutch? (I am).

Before starting on recording a whole section it is a good idea to first record a 1-minute test. See http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/HowToRecord#1minutetest for more information. This is not an audition, but just to check whether all your technical settings are correct etc. You can also post it in this thread if you want to.

Have fun recording, and let me know if you have any questions. (Illiterati has been very busy lately, so I'm helping out here).

Anna

PS What name would you like to use as your catalog name? It can be your real name, or a pseudonym, or just the same as your forum name, whatever you want.

Thank you, Rae! Illiterati has been very busy, but I'm sure he'll be around shortly to PL your story.

PL 16-18. Great reading, Rae. :D

I'll have to assume you have some serious theatrical background. If not, even more amazing.

The files are otherwise flawless, but there is an unedited repeat in 16 at 20:10 (as though his words had stilled the beat)

Thank you,

I

Thank you so much that, Illiterati! Never been trained in drama, just love to read!

Let me edit that file for you and upload it again?

Hello Lezer,

Actually I'm Danish, but living in The Netherlands :)

This is just to let you know I'll be needing an additional week to complete my recording. I ran into some unexpected technical issues and had to start over, but it's going fine now.

Hello all,
Illiterati hasn't been able to be around lately - busy with that thing called "Real Life"... - I hope he will be back soon! Meanwhile, I've decided to give this project some new life.

Two stories have been orphaned: looking for readers! These are to be claimed by story, not by section. But please submit the recordings by section - as you record them :) you don't have to wait with uploading until you've finished the story! :D

Olaf - you indicated in June that you are still interested in recording your story - how are the technical issues coming along? Need any help?

Also, as new stories come in we will also be needing a PL-er!

Have fun,
Anna

Hello Ted,
This is a kind of special project - we would like every story to be read by 1 person. So at the moment there is one story "Karain: A Memory" left unclaimed, which has 6 chapters.
I will be happy to sign you up for this story (so the 6 sections) - or is this not what you meant?
