Just a note -- I don't see a link to the Gutenberg page.

When reading French-text and seeing "M.D'artagnan" - that should be read as "Monsieur D'artagnan"?

I have recently realized how much French I have forgotten. :)

Oh, and Catharine, your information is in this page: http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/ListOfReadersCatalogNames

You can forevermore be lazy and not bother with giving your book coordinators your name and URL.

Cool. I hadn't seen your earlier post in the thread about how that info wasn't required every time anymore.

Chapter 53 is humming - almost half done with the text. :)

I figured out recently that in a typical week, I give almost the same amount of time to Librivox-related stuff as I do to music. Kind of scary, but very cool.

I love this place!

I think I added the catalog information page after you'd read it first. I've made a few adjustments to the main post.

I'm glad you're enjoying Librivox :) Maybe you should try to recruit more locals so more can enjoy by plastering posters in your area ( http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18923)

willcutz would like to volunteer to record the 66th chapter and the Conclusion of this epic. May I use my hardback, translated by William Robson, or would you prefer what is printed at Gutenberg?

Sadly we can't use most things which have been printed in the United States more recently than 1923. It's much better if you use the Gutenberg text, since it's already been vetted for public domain clearance. Anything else will have to go through its own vetting process and will seriously delay the release of this work...

Also, I think it's good to all use the same translation for consistency.

I'll sign you up Jay :)

I'm brand new, but I'd love to read a chapter or two, please. I have downloaded Audacity and am ready to go. Thank you!
