Thanks a bunch, asy! I'll upload the song and play with the tracks later today. :)

Brian -- no need to PL the song just yet until I've fixed it up.

The roles of Oberon and Titania are now available. Condolences to Caet and Max who are dealing with a death in the family. See you two back soon!

Can I put a claim in for Titania on my wife's behalf? She'll be new to Librivox but not new to acting (we met because we were in a play together).

My condolences to Caer and Max.

best regards,

Simon

Sure thing, Simon! It's easiest if she registers on the forums, since forum registration is the gateway to a database entry. (She doesn't actually have to post on the forum if you will be handling that part.) For now I'll put your name in the Titania slot as a placeholder. Let me know how to credit her in the catalog once she's got a forum name and sent her files in.

I can never talk my husband into recording anything.

Looking forward to your donkey impersonation. I caught the bit of braying you already did -- Brian's right, RSC here you come.

Hi. I'm Simon's wife and have now registered.

Will record Titania's part this week and will get it to you as soon as we can.

Looking forward to doing more recordings!

I like the song too, Brian. :) I have the tracks woven together but I'm letting asy pass my editing job before I post the final version. She is going to be multiple fairies (her own doppelganger -- or more like tripleganger).

Thank you for your welcome.

"The Lark" by Jean Anouilh (about Joan of Arc). I played Simon's wife - we were heirs to the French throne. By the way, my real best friend played Simon's mistress...!!!

Fellow Thespians:

For what its worth, Oberon's part is here:

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/law/Oberon.mp3

I apologize for not giving separate files for each scene, but with only 8 lines in one (one speech), and 28 in another (two speeches), I thought the editor would want the material ASAP. I can break these up into separate files, however, if that is helpful.

BTW, it is a thrill to be part of this project. THANK YOU to all who have made it possible. :D

Shakespeare has been a hobby of mine for the last 3 years as I began accumulating all the movies made of his plays that I could afford. Actual reading a part is a neat progression. :)

FrZeile, thanks for the file and the quick turnaround! Isn't this FUN? See you in the next one! :D

Cori -- is the one big file OK with you?
p.s. There are two scenes ready to edit, and another one will be ready after Brian has PL'd Oberon. Wiki link
