How are the remaining chapters coming? I have tried to contact Mikey and Juliann off-list with no luck. Maybe this public plea will reach you.

If we have more orphans Paula, I will be all over them.

I can't believe there isn't move love for Dracula! It's so sad...

Should I be weeping blood tears? ;)

I think we all love him, Marlo Dianne. I know I do. Sometimes, though, we have to do our taxes and stuff.

I will try once more, and if I can't reach Mikey and Juliann, I'll liberate their chapters. You are first in line for them.

Okay, I have finally heard from both Mikey and Juliann. They're a bit behind, but still working on their chapters. So I think we're cool for the moment.

Ha-HAH! It took me for-fragging-ever, but I at last have chapter 2:

http://www.shininghalf.com/sharepics/dracula_02_stoker.mp3

Because it took me so long it's a little inconsistent. I also apologise to everyone with real accents for my fake ones, but "doing the voices" really helped me get into it --- especially with Jonathan, ironically. Getting used to hearing myself recorded, I think I have a somewhat "muppety" voice, so the impression of Jonathan I got from doing this is strangely... cuddly. But I think that works well at this point in the story.

I think it turned out reasonably well, and it is by far the most ambitious thing I've recorded yet. Hope you like it!

Got it, Laura. Thank you!

I will have a listen, but I have a few things I must take care of first.

Dracula chapters 13, 14, and 15 have been orphaned. We need them ASAP. Anyone interested? Please post here or in the orphaned chapters thread. I will clean up stray messages.

We must get these done ASAP, so please don't claim them if you have any doubts.

Thanks!

I can take them Paula.

Dracula has huge chapters, so it may take me couple of weeks to get them recorded, but I rescued the other orphans, so you know I'm good for it. ;)

On the other hand, if you want fresh voices, I understand. :)

I want to apologize. I suddenly had to veer away from Librivox for a while, and I was so excited at first - bit off more than I could, erm, chew, I guess, and work and other things got in the way. I'm stuck between tax time and having to move next month, so the squeeze is on, time and money-wise

As I told Paula, Chapter 4 is done, but I have to relenquish my hold on Chapter 5.

I will be back reading again soon, and look forward to it.

Thanks, Mikey. I got the chapter, and I'll check it over soon.
