Jo:

Thank you so much for your work. If arisha can't re-record I agree we should just let it go (although it's too bad about the spark/spirit and noise issue!).

ASI is still up and running, so I am sure the broken link is a temporary server issue- alas the internet is not glitch-free! I'll check back tomorrow and see if it's up again. [UPDATE: SITE BACK UP]

Here are the PL notes:

Standard PL: Section 24

I listened to section 9 tonight. The audio volume is still quite low and there is appreciable background noise. I tried my hand at editing it, but my attempts distorted the recording to the point that it was hard to listen to (I did not upload my efforts since they were not any better) Not sure what to do about this file... :(

Wendel,

I think putzya's reading itself is really great! But I agree that the noise may be just too problematic. Jo, would you recommend opening it back up to another reader?

Best,

Let me take a look at it and see what can be done with the noise first.

That is a tough file to clean up without adversely affecting the reader's voice, but here are a couple of noise cleaned versions to choose from. See what you think -

If you don't like either of these then we can see if someone else can do a better job on them or if all else fails then I guess you could have someone else read the chapter.

PL notes:

overall *great* recording!!

two minor issues:

I'll get this fixed, but it will have to wait until my voice recovers from the cold I have at the moment. :( Sorry for the further delay here.
