PL for Part I, Section II: Intro - Chapter II
A good reading, the only thing to note is at...
13:23 missing the word Hippolytus
and perhaps...
5:58 the true case should be the true cause
too minor to probably be worth changing since the sense is the same...
14:39 we should be......he should be
19:10 which is the elegant should be which is elegant
24:03 had not really.....had really

A PL for the reading by Meg_T, The Theory of Moral Sentiments by Adam Smith.
chapter 04 (Part I, Section II: Chapter III - V);
No significant mistakes. A good reading done with passion, as is appropriate!
I'll list these differences from the text below, though they are not worth changing as the sense is the same (only if need word perfect);
4:28 something still...should be...still something
10:17 not the object...should be...not the objects
24:17 of the old ones...should be...of his old ones

Chapter 05 of Moral Sentiments (Part I, Section III: Chapter I) by Meg_T
PL OK, a good reading, no significant mistakes. This is very minor, but to be Word Perfect I'll list it; 11:52 always appears....appears always. Also, there is some occasional distortion to the sound but this does not get in the way of listening.

PL checks out all OK for CH 07, Part I, Section III: Chapter III by noonday
There are some minor differences from the text but in all cases the sense is the same. (Not sure if I should be listing them, but the PL notes for this project are for word perfect?)
Here they are anyway, though I don't think they are worth changing;
1:26 contempted contemned
3:38 no nice no very nice
5:39 the most the more
7:22 upon Lewis upon by Lewis
9:02 so venerable so very venerable
10:30 it in in it
11:32 the innocent the more innocent

"Section" 08 now PL'd
(Part II, Section I: Intro - Chapter V) by Meg_T
A good reading with no significant mistakes, however if the reader wishes to be word perfect the following unimportant differences are;
8:48 thereby delights ... should be ... therefore delights
11:13 is a man ... is man
12:42 passed ... passes
14:12 "affections" sounds a little like "infections"
16:38 That whenever the ... That wherever the
25:31 whom these scourges ... whom those scourges

PL checks out all OK for section 10 (Part II, Section II: Chapter III) by Ashwin Jain,
A good reading with no significant mistakes. However if if was to be made word perfect, the following could be edited;
2:55 "one another (need a longer pause here) Beneficence"; a fault of the text as the period is missing.
3:21 again a typo in the text to blame; 'hut' should be 'but'
15:54 diskretment should be discernment, the c is silent
17:23 guinea, the a is silent
24:30 "In every religion", has a slightly distracting background noise

PL all OK for section 19 Part III: Chapter V by biddym,
A good reading with very few mistakes; these below are I think too minor to be worth changing...
0:35 Laws of Deity Laws of the Deity
19:53 the advantages those advantages
25:42 in a lifetime to come in a life to come
28:20 in perfidy the y should be pronounced as an e,
pur-fi-dee

PL all OK for for section 23 Part V: Chapter I by LeonMire

A good clear reading with only one mistake, which will need to be edited out;
10:50 "After the praise of refining the taste of a nation", is a phrase repeated twice.

section 25 PL all OK Part VI: Section I by jude,

A good clear reading with no significant mistakes. The differences from the text, listed below, are all unimportant and have the same sense as the text. I list them only for the Word Perfect guidelines (and I don't think they are worth editing);

3:23 that by by that
2:03 to principally principally to
10:57 at nearly nearly at
13:37 were managed were well managed
14:10 fortune, of fortune, and of
14:23 yet it is never yet it never is
14:47 and the reputation and reputation
16: 49 who, for the want who, for want
19:10 of the great of great

PL for Section 26 Part VI: Section II by jude
Everything checks OK, a good reading with no real mistakes. The unimportant differences are:
6:25 can be expected can be either expected
6:47 much being being much
8:43 are objects are the objects
20:09 nor of any thing nor from any thing
29:02 in great in a great.

A note to Ettelocin for when you get back from holidays; hope this solves your short term PL problem :) Please let me know if I flouted any minor or major formalities of the PL process, so I can learn. Cheers, David

Pled Section 01

00:45 except the pleasure, not but the pleasure
01:18 perhaps may feel it, not perhaps feel it
03:46 shrink and draw back, not shrink back
04:25 in the correspondent, not on the correspondent
13:25 upon their happiness, not on their happiness
14:13 for our own misery, not from our own misery
19:47 with my grief, not in my grief
22:49 with whom we are, not with him we are
23:46 of one whom, not of whom
23:55 compensate the painfulness, not compensate for the painfulness
25:51 stumble -- as suitable
28:02 missed -- and if they do not
31:02 without doubt, not without a doubt
31:50 in relation, not in the relation

Nikki, I love your reading, please continue.

Sorry, I should have followed the thread till the end. As a newbie, I just jumped into Section 01 and didi the PL, since I didn't see either a PL-OK or competion mark on the first thread.

No problem Andy, looks like I missed a few anyway, because I hadn't read the word perfect guidelines when proofing chapter 1. I guess the idea with word perfect is to log any differences, no matter how minor, and let the reader decide which ones are important? It also seems ettelocin is on holidays still, hence the magic window is not yet updated.
From one newbie to another, welcome!
