Here is Chapter 14 with the new addition:

I changed a couple of things in his recording. I can put them back as they were, if you prefer. His name was in the intro and outro, plus his city was in the outro. I deleted all of his outro and moved the city to the beginning. This bit of text: "2. Reprinted from Mrs. Piozzi’s (Thrale’s) Autobiography (ed. Hayward, Ticknor and Fields, Boston, 1861), vol. ii. p. 247" is I think supposed to go with my part. He had read it, but I deleted his reading and substituted mine. I could of course be wrong about that referring to my part; here is a quick link to text if you'd like to see: http://www.bartleby.com/45/3/208.html . And last I did a little noise cleaning.

Let me know if you'd like anything done differently.

Thanks for noticing those mistakes, Peter! It was not always so easy to keep track of all the repetitions in the text, but I felt it important to include them in the reading rather than just read the short form, since such repetitions form such an important part of these early Buddhist texts. At any rate, I have edited the file now and am uploading it presently.

My pleasure: the texts are quite hard-going sometimes.

25, 26, 27 and 30 proof-listened: all are fine.

Thanks, Peter - we're almost there.

Looking at your notes for section 13, I think we may accept those small differences, do you agree?

I'm leaving on a week's holiday tomorrow, and will not even take my computer :) So don't worry if there is no immediate response the next few days. I'll be back!

My apologies; I'd forgotten all about this .. lost the bookmark when I had to switch computers after a failure.

I have a week's holiday at home, will listen to all the rest within the next couple of days.

Great - there are not many sections left for listening.
Have a good holiday :)

I'm sorry to do this:

Chapter 11: paragraphs 3 and 4 are "called up" in the text from the later paragraph 25.

Paragraph 4 is repeated: the first reading starts at 10.16, the second at 11.20

The flow of the text is so repetitive, you could easily get away with not editing it. I had trouble spotting it myself.

*******
... and that's the lot. Again, my apologies for the slowness.

Thanks, Peter.
I'll send Carl a PM to hear his opinion on Chapter 11.

I've edited out the extra "paragraph 4" in section 11 & re-uploaded - so now it's all ready for the final step. I'll work on the cataloguing :)
