Sure thing, Ashwin.. thanks!
I remember how, in college, I got that part-time job as a circus clown, and how the children would laugh and laugh at me. I vowed, then and there, that I would get revenge.

No problem, Chris. This one's nowhere near completion, so I'm not going to rush anyone. But thanks for letting me know!

I'd like to claim Section 13 if possible. I might do more later, but I'll decide once I get that one done.

If anyone feels like listening through and giving me extra feedback, that would be great. Feel free to PM it to me if you don't want to clutter the thread. This is my first "for keeps" recording, so I'm curious to hear if other people think it's good or not. Thanks in advance.

My notes for section 13 (13 – Rebirth Is Not Transmigration) are:
at 01:13 "another" instead of "other"
at 03:50 "burnt" instead of "burnt up"
at 13:09 "those fabricating" instead of "those other fabricating"

CalmDragon, since Leon has had a recent attack of Real-Life-itis, I'll go ahead and assign sections 01-03 to you

I was wondering if I could take Chapter 6. I recognize a few names here on the forum - hello to all. I am glad to be back and to contribute again. Please let me know if Chapter 6 is still available. Thanks.

shoes, I've gone ahead and assigned section 6 to you. And welcome back!

If anyone else is BCing this project in Leon's absence, I apologize in advance for toes that may have been stepped on.

Can I please read section 14. I'm new to Librivox but I have already done a few short stories and poems. I really like this section, though.

Sure thing, woggy298. Section 14 - Death's Messengers, is yours.

The intro and closing words for the chapter may be a bit different than you're used to, so check out the first post for details. File naming scheme and ID3 tags are posted there, as well. Any questions, post them here in the thread, or send me a PM.

This is LeonMire's project, but since he's had Real Life issues to deal with recently, I'm substituting for him and keeping things running smoothly. Once Leon gets back, he'll be taking over the project again.

Here's my recording of Chapter 14. I hope it sounds o.k. I never seem to think I sound as good as the feedback I usually get. Human nature, I guess.

Here's the file:
