Excellent, Esther! You make a very convincing Borg Queen...

Looks like we made the big time (if you consider Wikipedia the big time)

Have you ever put something in the public domain that you were pretty sure the public domain didn't want?

Everytime I record, actually... I try not to think about it.

An excellent bedtime, story, Chocoholic!!!

My own recent wastes of time:

Daleks: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/tc/pi_50_daleks_jc.mp3

Not quite ready for a BBC radio drama, perhaps, but the best this
poor Yank could do.

...And another little bit of silliness that came out of my fussing with Audacity to get the Dalek voice right:

Fascinating and fun as this is, part of me will be glad when it's over. My work, other projects, and kids have suffered terribe neglect at the hands of Pi (although I think my little one has most of the 50 digits down from hearing my repetition - his kindergarten teacher must think we're an odd household.). My wife has put her pretty little foot down and forbidden me to participate if there comes a Pi Approximation Day or Mole Day project. (pssst... but i won't tell her if you don't).

I think Shurtagal has created an annual LibriVox institution. As there is no end to Pi, there's no end to recording it...

Think of a Cylon trapped in a giant salt shaker. Oddly benign-looking and at the same time inhumanly menacingly evil in a way that Cylons aren't quite.

Sigh... You just had to go and say "Cylon" didn't you?. And there goes another productive morning...

That one is great!!! What color is the VASI at 3.14... miles at 3000 ft?

Red over white, you're all right.
White over white, you're out of sight.
Red over red, you're dead.

Recorded it once then copied into multiple tracks and changed the pitch of each track. SOOO Simple.

Esther

PS I've always wanted to use that borg icon!!
