Welcome to LV and to this project, great to have you join us.

I have put you down for 15 & 16, you will find all the information to help you along with your recording in the first post of this thread, if your unsure of anything don't hesitate to give us a holler. I'm only too willing to help out.

hugoceline it's a good idea before you do you first recording to do a small test and send it in, that way you know if your settings etc. are set right. Makes it a lot easier to record longer sections.

Happy recording Lucy :)

Hello luciburg,

I've done a test file and uploaded it. If I've followed the instructions to the letter, all should be well!! I've added another".mp3.". Sorry about that. No doubt you can sort it out!

Hope this is OK. Of course you'll let me know!!

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Aileen, welcome to LV and to this great project. I have put you down for the chapters you have requested.

You will find all the information in the first post of this thread, if there is anything your not sure of just give us a holler and we are only to happy to help you.

It is a good idea to do a 2-3min test recording and send it in, this way you will know if your settings etc. are correct.
It's okay to post the link in this thread.

Thanks Lucy :)

Hi Lucy
I'm really looking forward to starting the recordings. I've made a test file of the first few pages of Section 50 but I've been unable to upload the file. The uploader isn't accepting my username/password.

I'll let an 'admin' person know of this (?) as soon as I figure out where to do that.

I'll keep checking and try uploading again.

Aileen

p.s. I love the spiral blanket on your blogsite. How did you manage to finish it so quickly?

Hi Lucy

I reread the instructions and figured out my error. It's not my password that's required!

The testfile is uploaded.

Aileen your sample seems to be okay, the settings and volume intake is great.

Also you have a nice clear voice and you read at a nice steady pace, keep up the great recording, looking forward to hear more from you.

Thanks Lucy :)
