I see that Kehinde is the dedicated listener. I would like to have CC if possible. Thanks.

The reason could only be... my stupidity. But it's fixed now :D

@NikolaiDante
I received your chapter. Many thanks. And I'm glad that you want another chapter. I marked you down for chapter 16.Thank you so much. And your name is added to the database, therefore you don't have to repeat the catalogue name in future.
And everyone generally gentle on LibriVox, but apart from that, there is no fear anyway :D; as far as I listened to it, your recording is wonderful. Kehinde will listen to it if there are some repeated sections or stumble which are not edited out.

@robbierogers
Thanks you so much for chapters 5 and 6. And I also appreciate that you will continue to record for me.

Thanks to all!

Thanks Roger! :D

You see, Kehinde is so eager to listen to your recording that I even didn't manage to put the listen link into the magic window before the chapter was downloaded. So, how about another chapter?

Thanks raynr! :D I know that I will take another chapter, but first....
your tag at the top of this thread shamed me into volunteering for the last 2 chapters of the
'almost finished' section of War and Peace before taking another from this. :D

I'll be back, if there's anything left by then!

Oh, I meant any chapter of War and Peace, and I'm very glad that you volunteered for the last chapters of book 2. That should have been in the catalogue long ago (book three is already there...) :D

Hello robbierogers,

My apologies- I saw your post after I had Pled- I'm downloading 6 again and will let you know what I find. Image

Kehinde

Edited to add after listening:

Your recording is practically flawless. I could not find any volume fluctuations or any pops or any sound 'plosives.' The volume is perhaps a little on the soft side as I'm listening on my desktop speakers, however, that can be adjusted at will and does not really detract from the recording overall.

Your reading is smooth without any stumbles or too long pauses that detract or jolt someone listening away from the story plot. Your reading speed is just right as well; neither too fast or slow.

All I can say is do keep doing what you're doing! You're definitely doing something right-- Hope this feedback is of some help. Image
