kmerline,
Section 01 , chapter 1 is now on its way to you via yousendit.

A big and LOUD truck or street cleaner took a very long time to drive past our house, thus more editing than usual may be necessary.

Hi, I did the editing, but our little mics must be pretty good, because I couldn't even tell about the truck! Your edited sec 1 is posted for Susan to read.

Dear Trollope reading team:

As reading for Phinneas draws to a close, this is to let you know that I definitely plan to post the next novel in the Palliser series, "The Eustace Diamonds". It is a sort of "reverse" detective story, in which the reader knows the answer, but the characters have to figure it out! The female UN-heroine, while not very likable imo, is a most interesting character. Some of the characters from "Can You Forgive" and "Phinneas" appear in minor roles.

We have 2 sections yet to be claimed - I'm not sure whether Alan Brown's post means to claim them or not! I've pm'ed him a second time explaining and asking him to clarify.

In the mean time, please feel free to claim those 2 sections if you are so disposed - but if you do claim, please make every effort to read them soon, so I can go ahead and catalog.

A very special thank you to all for your fine contributions! :D :D

I'll claim sec 34/chap 39.

I won't be getting to until tomorrow so if Alan is still interested I'll just go back to my Trollope "short" story until the next Palliser novel gets posted.

Thank you, ed, I've put in your claim. Although I've pm'ed twice, I haven't heard from Alan at all since his post. And, if he still wants to claim, maybe he will like "The Eustace Diamonds".

Thank you, Bob. I've posted your section to the window.

The sequel "The Eustace Diamonds is up and open for claims, although if any orphans do pop up here I hope you will consider claiming them first!
