Section 16

ID3 tags appears to be missing author, title and album title. Also file name is typed "dead_men_16_hornung" instead of what is indicated below in excerpt from first post:

"Save files as
128 kbps MP3
deadmentellnotales_##_hornung.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is your section number. (e.g. deadmentellnotales_01_hornung.mp3) "

Also appears to need 5 seconds of silence at end.

Otherwise- it's great!

Thanks for the "all good". :P

If you have any other comments I would appreciate it if you could PM me with them. This is the first time I've ever tried anything like this. If I really did well I'ld like to know so I can decide if I will do any more readings. :)

Thanks.

Hello GrumpyOldSquid,

My apologies- I didn't take notice of your initial request for constructive criticism!

You did very well indeed! Image I found your recording to be as perfect as a recording could possibly be.

I could find no significant volume fluctuations- the volume is steady and the pitch is just right. Neither did I find any 'plosives' at all that are mostly found with words starting with 'p' or 'b'. Also, no loud pops or noises stemming from your mic could be found.

Your reading speed is a comfortable one, in my opinion, neither too fast or too slow. No repeats were heard or any stumbles or any too long pauses in between words or phrases were present that disrupted one's reading/listening pace.

I could also not detect any significant breathing noises on the recording that I found to be distracting in any way.

As for improvements- I can't think of any- only to keep doing what you're doing! Perhaps if a second or more professional opinion regarding your recording and your recording equipment is needed you may post a link to the recording on Listeners Wanted and I am pretty sure more experienced recorders and better ears than mine will be able to shed more enlightenment and information. But whatever the feedback you get I do hope you will keep on recording. It was a pleasure listening to you.

Have a happy New Year!
Kehinde
