You're very kind. I'm just glad I have figured out how to tinker with volume and editing and how to do the tags. :) I'm sure you'll hear from me some more because I love reading, especially poetry, Shakespeare, and children's stories.

Are there any monologues that are particularly wanted? Maybe someone could make a few suggestions of ones I could go for?

For backstory: I'm 17, female and English.. so I guess try and find something appropriate to that :P

Well, I'm a newbie myself, dear, but what I did was find a monologue I liked, then checked to see if it was in the catalog.

I hope that helps. I'm sure one of the more experienced LV members will be able to tell you more.

Whoopsie! I should have done that. As it was I recorded a monologue from a midsummer nights dream that was already done... I guess you guys might be able to use it anyway? If not it was good practise.

I already uploaded it before I saw your post -_-

Hi! I'm a newbie and having fun with my first few recordings. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!

Here's my contribution to this forum. It's Hecate's monologue from Macbeth.

And here's the corresponding text:
