Sweet! The BG is one of my favorite religious texts. It's so poetic in ways that the Bible and the Koran just aren't. I look forward to listening to this one.

thanks for the support great plains, i am happy to see it near completion as well :) .

hi leon, great recording, one thing @ 11:18 or so you said "desires for ever dread", instead of "Desires for ever dead", i think that changes the context a bit, how about you (as this is a sacred text i have been trying to retain the correct wordage)?

i just remembered, i still need to do a couple of edits before cataloging on my own file and a little spot on leon's first file. i haven't heard from shweta for a while now, so i think hers will be fine as is. peter's edit was really minor so i think we can just call it good

I've been doing the same thing with the Old and New Testaments. And you're right, it does change the context, so I went ahead and fixed it. Here's the corrected file:

Still 17.3 MB - 18:27.
I remember how, in college, I got that part-time job as a circus clown, and how the children would laugh and laugh at me. I vowed, then and there, that I would get revenge.

For anyone here interested in Eastern religions:
I'm going to start a project to record Buddhist Writings, a selection of Buddhist scriptures from various sources, as soon as this one's cataloged.

Here's the e-text: http://www.bartleby.com/45/3/

Once all the files are collected and proof-listened, it's handed over to the MC. And as long as there aren't any problems with the files while cataloging, the only thing that's left for you to do is to enjoy the audio book. :)
