Finally I got micro and setup running.

Also, if this is your first recording, you may want to send (to the LibriVox Uploader - see first post "Transfer of Files") a sample recording of a minute or so, to make sure the sound quality etc is all right - often things can be improved at the outset that are difficult to fix later.

Thank you, Quim! The recording is great - loud enough, no background noise, no other problems. Your voice is lovely, lovely.

Look forward to the finished recording!

Oh sorry Hector - missed your first post! Of course we want you! I'll put you down for section 12, and will listen to your test recording in a moment.

EDIT: Just listened to the test. Everything just fine from a sound point-of-view, and another lovely voice! Great recording, Hector, thanks. Look forward to hearing more from you. :)

Gosh, how could I miss so many posts? Thank you for posting again, Andrés. I'll gladly sign you up for section 13, Capitulo XXIII-XXIV of Volume 2.

Please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal web site/blog.

Also, if this is your first recording, you may want to send (to the LibriVox Uploader - see first post "Transfer of Files") a sample recording of a minute or so, to make sure the sound quality etc is all right - often things can be improved at the outset that are difficult to fix later.

So sorry for the delayed feedback; I'm quite busy in my 'real' life right now... Your reading is lovely and the sound quality is fine, too, but the recording could be louder. :) Look forward to the finished recording! (You know you should read the LibriVox intro etc, right? Just checking because your test started with the chapter itself, which is perfectly fine, but for the final recording we'll need the intro/outro, see first post).
