Thanks very much, Susanne. Yes, I really agree with you. I feel a little sad that this part of Conrad's legacy seems to be downplayed somewhat. With "The Rescue", yes, I can understand critics wanting to look the other way, but with this one, yes, it's not a 'heavyweight', but it seems to me Conrad is quite engaged with telling his story, and gives his sardonic side pretty free rein.Sunrise2020 wrote: ↑November 29th, 2022, 10:52 am Really quite extraordinary.
