Here is chapter 18 on Brahms. I took note of the suggestions for pauses between paragraphs, so hopefully the timing on this chapter should move more smoothly. However, please do let me know what edits may need to be made.

yes I agree, this flow is much smoother than the previous section I think I would have like Brahms in his lifetime.

Only a few small edits this time:

> at 24:01: "when the young musician traveled to Hanover and Leipsic" – you say "from Hanover to Leipsic"
> at 28:17: missed sentence: "That was in 1861."
> from 36:10 to 36:12: between "attention shown him" and "every evening" - pause a bit too long
> from 36:52 to 36:55: between "in Hamburg" and "end of chapter 18" - pause a bit too long

I have also noted the PL edits from the previous post. I should be able to fix the Chopin chapter in the next few days. Thanks for your very detailed feedback!
On to Liszt next. I will have this final chapter in by the Thursday deadline!

thank you so much for working so hard on these now to meet the deadline. I loved Liszt's life, I once saw a biographical movie about Chopin and Liszt and they were both great characters.

Excellent job on the edits too. Section 12 is now definitely PL ok and sounds more fluent. Thank you.

A couple more small edits for the other two sections, and then we are ready for the catalogue:

Section 14:

> from 8:11 to 8:13: between "per lesson" and "as soon as" - here I found another long pause, but the rest of the section was really very nicely paced

Section 18:

> at 37:03: the two re-recorded sentences are repeated at the end after 5 seconds of silence. They need to be cut

As soon as the sections are reuploaded, I can proceed with the cataloguing. Thanks !

Section 18 is unchanged, I still have the double sentences at the end. The length is also unchanged, it should be more 37:02 than 37:10 after the cuts. Did you maybe reupload the wrong file ?
