Thanks! The reading itself is A-OK! There are a couple nit-picky things to adjust:RevBro1 wrote: ↑June 25th, 2022, 9:55 am https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/solitary_teasdale_reb_128kb.mp3
Hi,
My first narration.

- Please cut the beginning silence so it's between 0.5 and 1 second.
- Please add about 2 seconds' silence at the end, so it's about 5 total.
- While you're in there, you may want to cut out that tiny click at the very end.
Upload the new file with the same file name.
How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

Thanks for the quick reply! If you can fix this one up it would be much appreciated I don't know what's up with the volume issue but I'll work on it for the next recording.

Thanks! Do you want to be known in the catalog (to the world) as shibubbletea or your real name, or something else?
0:20 - "to share myself with every comer" - I hear "to shape myself"
You have a couple plosives. This is when your breath directly hits the microphone on letters like P, F, or TH. Move your microphone a little bit to the side of your mouth if a desktop mic, or a little above or below your mouth if a headset mic. This will help the air pass by the mic instead of directly hitting it.
Since the poem is so short, it may be easiest to reposition your mic and redo the whole thing rather than try to fix it. (You can't really fix plosives anyway.) Send it using the same file name as before.
I'll be working on cataloging this in about 4 hours.

I fixed up the two files that needed fixing, as much as I could.
