Low Tide on Grand Pré: A Book of Lyrics, by Bliss Carman (1861 - 1929)

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/low-tide-on-grand-pre-a-book-of-lyrics-by-bliss-carman/

The first of more than thirty books of poetry by Canadian poet Bliss Carman. "The poems in this volume have been collected with reference to their similarity of tone. They are variations on a single theme, more or less aptly suggested by the title, Low Tide on Grand Pré. It seemed better to bring together between the same covers only those pieces of work which happened to be in the same key, rather than to publish a larger book of more uncertain aim. B.C. by Grand Pré, September, 1893." (Summary by Fritz and the author)
Source text (please read only from this text!): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/56300

Target completion date: 01-01-22

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

If you need a DPL, I'd be glad to join you -- as long as I can read "Seven Things" and "In Apple Time."

I'd love to have you as the DPL, Larry, but I'm reading it as a solo. :(

Oh, I didn't see it marked as a solo, but in that case I would be doubly glad to join you as DPL. :D
