Section 4 is PL OK!
Here we go with sections five and six. These are the last of the "mechanical" chapters. We will be moving into tuning proper and the theory of the equally tempered scale.

Here are sections seven and eight. Are you ready for a practical application for the Circle of Fifths?

I am ready!
Sections 5-8 are PL OK!

Sections 9 & 10 uploaded.

Four more recorded and in the editing process - just two more plus a wrap-up to record.
So, would a gathering of teetotaling piano tuners be called a temperance temperament meeting?

Thanks - I am going to finish this before taking on any other projects, including NGM. So, if there is anything left when I am done here, I will see you over there. If not, I will help out next time.

I'm sure you'll be finished with this in no time and then move on to other project I'll need some time to catch up though, as I won't be able to check files for a few more days.
There is no rush.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑November 11th, 2021, 5:12 am I'm sure you'll be finished with this in no time and then move on to other project I'll need some time to catch up though, as I won't be able to check files for a few more days.

Hi Amy,
I was wondering if it would be possible to add something to the description. If so, I think the following regarding concert pitch as used in the book would be appropriate.
n.b.: "Concert Pitch as used in the book equates to A-454, considerably higher than today's standard of A-440.
Thanks

Hi Jim,
Certainly. You can update the summary. I will add that. If you want anything else please let me know.
I entered it as " Please note that Concert Pitch as used in the book equates to A-454, considerably higher than today's standard of A-440."
Have a good night!

In the mind, or consciousness of the Earth this flower first lay latent as a dream. Perhaps, in her consciousness, it nested as that which in us corresponds to a little thought.--A.Blackwood

In section 15 at 8:42 I read it as "Bb" as "Bm" must be a typo The interval from F to Bb is in fact a perfect fourth
In section 16 at 14:41 I read the section title as "Pedal Defects" instead of "Pedal Detects"
No rush, Rapunzelina.

Hi Jim! I've listened to 11 and 12 and have marked them PL OK!
This is not a word-perfect project, but since it is somewhat technical, I thought I'd mention an optional edit for your consideration, in section 12, around 5:36, I think I hear successfully for successively. I'm OK with that, just mentioning it in case it's something you'd like to change.
