You are doing great! This one is PL OK. There are no clippings and the sound is good overall and your narration is sweet and enjoyable.DOLZ wrote: ↑August 25th, 2021, 8:03 am Take 1! Here we go.

So, first thing, I'm still trying to learn macros so for now doing it the manual way.
This time I was able to employ 'clip fix' and eliminated the 'clipping' but will look to you to grade my effort. Next, I reviewed your list of effects and was able to apply 'compression' but am already using ReplayGain. Are 'de-clip' and 'clip fix' the same effect? If not I'll need to do more homework.
I put the recording through Checker and got a 'pass'.
I hope to iron out all the editing with this recording so the rest will go faster and be of better quality.
Again, take your time and Thank you.
Sorry, what is 'clip fix'? As Tricia said, you can adjust the input volume. I saw once before on Youtube that you should keep the volume between -12 to -6. You may get clipping if you go beyond -6. You can test it out by opening Audacity. Click on the record button then the pause button. That way, you can keep an eye on the input volume as you adjust it
I use the compressor because sometimes I do go below or beyond the -12 to -6 range as I record. Especially, when I'm doing characters.
I use the Replay Gain to get the right volume of 88 or 89dB.
I use the De-clicker to remove any mouth clicks that I have in the recordings.
Let me know if you have any questions.
