Shall I mark it "See PL notes" and wait for the correction?

Thank you both; Section 2 has been corrected and re-uploaded.

From now on, I'll make a note of where each section begins and ends.

I've uploaded Section 3.

Section 3: From last para, p 49 "The plantations of their autumnal scenes ..."
to end of para 1, p 75 "... make them appear more considerable."

Section 4 will start at para 2, p75 "In straight roads, of smaller dimensions ..."

I've just re-uploaded section 3, as I forgot to include the LV introduction.

My apologies.

Section 3 is PL OK

Peter, are you using a different version to the archive.org link?
For the copy I'm reading from, you definitely started Section 3 on page 37 and finished on page 63 :hmm:

I'm sorry; I'm reading from the PDF downloaded from the archive page, which I had sort of assumed was an exact copy of the main display. If you prefer to use the online book, I can refer back to it for my section starts and endings, if you like.

No don't worry, I'll download the PDF and then we'll always be in sync, and less effort for you!

Thanks; I'm sorry for the confusion.

Section 4 uploaded. (Page numbers are for the PDF pages, not the pages of the actual text.)

Section 4 Start: para 2, p 75 "In straight roads, of smaller dimensions ..."
to end para 1, p 99 ".... the roots of any trees which they mean to preserve."

Section 5 will start at para 2, p99 "In their plantations, the Chinese Artists do not ..."

Thanks; section 5 uploaded.

There's a probable typo in the text ".... and a clown outwine a Poussin ...", which should probably be "... outshine a Poussin ...", but I can't be certain, so I've left it as it is.

Section 5 Start: para 2, p99 "In their plantations, the Chinese Artists do not ..." to FINIS, p 119

There are two sections remaining, an essay written by his Chinese guest.

Great stuff, Peter. Especially well done for those Chinese and French passages!
Just one thing before I mark it PL OK: at 8:20 you say "nor any" twice. If you could just delete one of those and then reupload, all will be perfect then.
Thanks, J

Thanks; I had a lot of help from Kitty with the French, but the Chinese pronunciation was just guesswork.

Section 5 corrected and re-uploaded.

You did as well with the Chinese as anyone could do from that text - in those times, transliterating Chinese into the Latin alphabet wasn't standardised at all, it's all very much guesswork  and of course they didn't indicate tones at all, so accuracy is never really achievable anyway.

Spot check PL OK!

The end is in sight!
