And of course darling Prof. Fowler WOULD include some (untranslated) Latin in his final chapter, bless him.

Looking at the MW I thought we had a lot more sections to come!Owlivia wrote: ↑January 29th, 2022, 8:52 pm At last! Chapter 7, the Finale, ready for review:

I'm sure Michael can delete the unused sections.
Just one note for correction and a couple of optional notes.
4:30 Repeat: “he is found”
Great job on the Greek, and I'll take your word for the Latin, since I'm not well grounded in it, but sounds good.
A couple of English pronunciations for you to consider:
42:41 “lowering”
In this context, as an adjective it is properly pronounced with "low" rhyming with "cow" or "now."
46:58 “dolorous”
This one should not sound like the woman's name, but the first syllable is accented and rhymes with "doll." (I had this kindly pointed out to me once in a poem)
Those are optional, of course.
Congratulations on a masterful reading of this chapter and book!

Thanks HUGELY for all the patient listening (AND how to pronounce "dolorous" - which is such a useful word, but so rarely spoken aloud. At least in my experience. )
Before we "go to press," I'd like to change the description of Prof. Fowler; there's a lovely one that I cribbed from a post on a Griffith Lectures page.
I was responsible for the over-estimation of the # of chapters, initially thinking they would each be two sections per chapter, but they all came in under 45 minutes or so.

It has been my pleasure to listen along with your fine reading.
Keep me in mind for future projects.
I''ll let you communicate with Michael when you're reading for the catalog, and he can take care of the extra sections.
All the best,
Larry
