Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

A note to a prospective DPL or MC - I intend to use the full disclaimer for the first and final poems, but the shorter poetry intro/outro for everything else.

I can volunteer as DPL here, if you're fine with this.

I always read along with the text, so let me know if you want a note of every deviation from the text or only what I think is changing the meaning. Especially with poetry, each single word is often important to convey the right mood.

I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April

Thank you, Lynne!

Sonia, it would be very nice to have you as a DPL. Thank you for offering. By all means, make a note of what you find if you're reading along. I tend not to ask for word perfect because I don't want to hassle someone volunteering their time, but yes, poetry can be a lot less forgiving than prose! On an unrelated note, I hope you're doing okay. It's been ages since our paths crossed, so it will be nice to see you again on this project.

yes this is how I prefer to PL :) you can always choose to correct or leave it, but at least you'll know.

it's true, we haven't interacted in a long time. All is fine here, all things considered.

thank you, Erin, this is a super start into the collection :9: I love the poems and your almost mystical voice is the perfect way of narrating them  All 4 PL ok.

You used the short poetry disclaimer instead of the suggested one in the first post, but I think for a such poems this is perfectly ok. :)

And a great weekend to you as well. Here the sun is shining and it's really warm. Summer is approaching.

My goodness, I haven't posted in two months! I'm sorry - I've been caught up in other things. I hadn't forgotten about this project, I just hadn't realised I'd left it so long to post on the thread.
