Dave -

I hadn't realised until I finished Chapter 10 that this is actually 7 (yes 7) different but linked books! I am happy to plough on (as I think she writes well) but I wonder whether they should not be separated out into different recordings. What do you think?

6:01-6:05 delete repeat, "and the..."

I did a brief web search for this book and was surprised to learn that it was "probably the biggest-selling novel of the nineteenth century." Over 1 million copies were sold and the book has been in print almost continuously since. Henry James among many admired it, while others attacked it. Archive.org has a scan of this edition and the "Books" were published as a single book. It seems important enough that keeping it as a single book is the best path to follow.
