Phil should have authorized you to edit parts of the Magic Window since you're a soloist. It's a different login to https://librivox.org/workflow - I find it easiest to use a different browser for the MW and the forums. (I use Chrome for the MW and Firefox for the forum. Your mileage may vary.)
Yes, t he soloist has been authorized as a BC for some time now and should be able to get into the magic window. Let me know of problems.

Phil, is there a special username/password to get in? My usual login doesn't work. (I'm clicking on BC admin)

Hi Rich,

Chapter 2 is ready for PL. (The checker has my volume at 89.5. Let me know if I should still go higher.)

Have a great day! :)

My copy of Checker also reports 89.5 dB for this chapter - keep your chapters near this volume and you'll have happy prooflisteners.

Chapter 2 is PL OK. I can hear from your voice you're having a good time reading this book!

Thanks for putting the URL in the Magic Window.

I notice the Project Gutenberg text includes another 4-line poem before even the title page:
When little Bunny was quite small,
He read by candle-light;
But now that he has grown up tall,
He goes to bed at night!
There doesn't seem to be any good place to read that into your audio book. Sigh -- too bad.

I noticed that too! I wonder if I could add it to Chapter 1 after "By Laura Rountree Smith" and before saying "Chapter 1"?

Maybe something like:
Preface and Chapter 1 of THE TALE OF BUNNY COTTON-TAIL. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org. THE TALE OF BUNNY COTTON-TAIL, by Laura Rountree Smith.

Preface
(the 4 line poem)

Chapter 1
(your existing recording)
But lets ask Phil - he has done this sort of thing, I believe.

Phil - suggestions?

That is not a preface, it is just a copy of the the illustration and poem that lead off this and other chapters. It seems to be an introduction to the chapter about to be read. I would definitely include it, but at the beginning of a chapter, after saying "chapter 2" Does this make sense? And If the story is already recorded, it is simple to stick this in. (at least for me!) :D

That makes sense to me, but "Chapter 1" and not "Chapter 2" - in the book it's before the title page.

Yes, you are right, before Chapter 1

I'll give that a shot & upload a new Chapter 1.

Cool. There's no need to do anything to your reading of Chapter 1 itself, which is lovely as-is.

Just drop in the poem in the right spot.
