SOLO White Cockades, by Edward Prime-Stevenson -philc
Chapter 7 PL OK
This novel is very well suited for being an audiobook! if I were reading it on paper, I think I would get impatient with all the over-the-top-ness and start skimming a bit, but listening to it as an audiobook forces me to read it at the pacing the author intended, and the suspense and tension works really well.

Chapter 12: I can't quite make out the very last sentence in this chapter. it sounds a bit like "Hide thy love knots with them".
Otherwise PL OK.
FYI the final vowel of Fontainebleau is pronounced OH and not UH. But this doesn't impact understanding in any way of course.
I learnt how to pronounce "antecedent" thanks to this chapter. Turns out I've been pronouncing it wrong my whole life!

Yes, that's exactly what the last line says. : )
Re: Fontainebleau, I think I've always somehow skipped the "a" and read it as Fontainebleu, which explains my mispronunciation. I've fixed and re-uploaded, I think you're supposed to check it again. The word is at 2:10.
Whew, I'm glad I did "antecedent" right!
