I looked up Falconera Island. It's in the Venice Lagoon. There's a resort there, but not as developed as I imagine much of the area around Venice to be. Looks like it would be a great place to spend some time.

They manage to jettison the mizzen mast and avoid running aground on Falconera.
I read that Mæonides is another name for Homer - learn something new every day. So does the suffix ides mean son of in Greek?
