It looks like the way I'm using the compressor is producing fairly consistent volume that is almost too high. I don't want to change the volume of this book noticeably from one chapter to the next, but in my next project after this one I am going to try the same use of compression an d follow it with negative amplification to try to bring the volume down slightly (1 to 2 DB)

I don't personally feel that you need to wait for me. If I find a volume problem, I can anyways change the status again. Although, so far, volume has been fine, so if Gerald continues to use the same processes, I think we're ok. And if for some reason I miss one, I can make small volume adjustments during cataloguing if needed.

Dulcamara, if you do want to wait for the PL OK I can always go in and update it after Devorah checks the volume, but like she said it seems like I've got that pretty well figured out now. I I ever do get the green light on both and the magic window doesn't sow OK I'll fix that
