It's a two-fer week! 8-)

Two more chapters uploading now. Give them about 20 minutes before trying to download them. :)

There's one spot in chapter 14 I considered fixing (intonation was off), but if you don't cringe at it, I won't.

Woot Woot, it's too quiet around here. I can use a couple chapters. :D

Okay, I won't look for trouble... just see if it hits me. :)

And, yes, I'll wait patiently. :D

We still have the loud vacuum environmental trucks around today. I'm not sure how many days they will be around; needless to say, there will be no recording while they're here.

I did post in reply; it wasn't a "great minds think alike" thing. ;)

Chapters 17 & 18 PL OK

I just got a surge of energy and started doing things... when the recording was done.

I will finish my broth canning, hopefully do more than just wash the kitchen towels, and clean up the kitchen without your lovely voice to accompany me. Okayyy, so I do turn it off when I go to the laundry room.

Two chapters up!

It's been a month since I recorded. I didn't put my recording area back together for this; I just brought the mic into the bedroom and lounged on my bed while recording. Thus my breath control was a little sketchy. ha ha!

I was totally surprised that you were able to record just now. It could be that when I listen to sections side-by-side that I would notice a little difference in the sound but otherwise I really didn't.

Chapter 19 is sort of OK. I'm having trouble with the word "blessed". The modern use of that word is as you read... one syllable. At the time of this writing the word would have been bless-ed... two syllables. That did catch my ear but... your choice. It may be too difficult to patch in a word with your current setup. FYI the two instances are at 7:28 and 7:39 (okayyy so I forgot to write down the minute and only wrote the seconds so I had to go through several spots. )

Chapter 20 -- another one word problem... the word in question will be bold... the text read - "The old lady dropped him a very low, very odd little curtesy" I'm thinking the word should be curtsy. Again, your choice Oh that's at 3:24 through 3:30

Guess I've written enough.
