You've been replying very fast. Take your time. I certainly am. ^^;;
Thank you! Sections 9, 10, and 11 are PL OK and strongly read.

I've been listening to these promptly for two reasons--I try to proof-listen promptly in general because often if I don't do things when they first come up they slide into the pile of Things To Do Someday and are lost there. But also these poems speak strongly to me and I'm eager to hear them.

I had not remembered "Tableau" for some while now, but as soon as it began I remembered how my white aunt (dead these many years) who married my black uncle used to recite that poem and look at their son, who didn't get to remain oblivious to look and word very long.
Well, I definitely do appreciate the turnaround time!

Aw, that's sweet. ^^ Bittersweet, but sweet.

I've uploaded 6, 7, and 8.

I've uploaded 6, 7, and 8.
I'm not seeing the audio files for 6, 7, and 8 in the Magic Window or in your last post. Not sure if something's going wrong at my end. Could you try putting them into the MW again?

Thanks. Strongly read as always. (And these are all quite new to me.)

Section 8 is PL OK.

In Section 6, at 0:37:
For “And lips know better how to kiss than HOW to raise white hymns”
I hear “And lips know better how to kiss than to raise white hymns”

In Section 7:
0:40
For “The chaste clean ladies pass THEM by”
I hear “The chaste clean ladies pass HIM by”
0:48
For “They wrap their wounds IN pride”
I hear “They wrap their wounds WITH pride”

I also tried rerecording Section 2 while I was starting from the beginning again. I think this take is better, ^^

Sections 2 and 5 are PL OK--and yes, I think this version of 2 is clearer and stronger.

One minor correction in each of the other sections:

Section 3:
0:29 for “while STILL HE loiters” I heard “while HE STILL loiters”

Section 4
0:41
for “end of Section 4” I heard “end of Section 3”

Section 4

for “end of Section 4” I heard “end of Section 3”
0:40: FOUR.

Thanks!

I hadn't realized that Sections 12 and 13 were up until I went in to update Section 4. Both sections are PL OK. I thought both were also intensely effective, in very different ways. Thank you again for the chance to listen to these.

Thanks, and sorry for the slow reply. Two very minor issues, both of which you should feel free to ignore:

At 0:24 for “who STAND in such imperious need of you” I heard “who STANDS”

At 0:30 for “HAPPILY on your passion’s frigid breast” I am hearing “HAPLY,” suggesting a different meaning to my mind... but this may just be a pronunciation difference.
The first doesn't change the meaning, so I'll allow it. For the second, I think the meter works better with my first pronunciation, so I'll allow it, too. Marking PL OK.

(And sorry about forgetting to post about those two other ones, lol. Slipped my mind.)

I'm going to allow this one, too. The fix is more complex than it's worth, lol. PL OK.
