I am overdue to post three new chapters, and they are ready except for one problem that has suddenly developed. For some reason, Chapter 21 recorded in stereo which I know we're not supposed to use. I hadn't changed any settings on Audacity, at least consciously, so I don't know how this happened. So far, I haven't figured out how to change it back. Do either of you know Audacity and know how to fix it? It looks like it's still set on mono.

Never mind. I figured it out. I discovered the "Stereo Track to Mono" option in the "Tracks" menu. I still don't know what caused it in the first place though.

I'm glad you figured that one out! It is an easy fix. Why it changed, I don't know what happens with Audacity, but I have had that happen to me before too. Recording for many years, then suddenly Audacity spontaneously changed from mono to stereo. I started checking all my recordings with Checker before I upload at that point, just to be safe!

I'm having difficulty with the computer I usually use for these projects. I'll probably be sending it out for repair soon. In the meantime, there might be a little delay before I submit the next sections.

I may try recording on THIS computer which is newer. But all my old LibriVox files are on the other one.
