I predicted completion by Memorial Day, but unless the remaining chapters are much shorter, at the rate of two chapters a week I'll probably run over by about a week. Close, but no cigar!

OK, let me make a stab at it!

K equals lamda times log times e times u subscript zero over u divided by E subscript zero times epsilon minus lamda times t subscript 1.

I will ask my engineer son to see if I have that correct. I may have to change the English letters to Greek. I had to get my Greek book out to make sure I had the Greek letters correct. Ouch!

ETA: OK, he says that it should be ...

K equals lamda log e times u naught over u divided by E naught times epsilon minus lamda t one.

Good! I will thank him from you. He did look at the equation and said that it looked weird. I told him this is fiction, and that the equation was probably made up to look difficult. He walked away, shaking his head.

Yeah. I was expecting it, but that one kinda hurt. She was one of the most memorable, likeable characters I've ever encountered in fiction. Or reality.

Thanks. All I did was read it. Someone else put the words in my mouth.

The summary has already undergone a major rewrite, but it now might contain a little too much info. Any comments would be gratefully considered.
