At least there are not vivid details on butchering.

We've now passed the halfway mark.

Thanks,

M
Just what we need -- more seal fat.
Really a different world.

Congratulations on the good progress

Oh, and did I mention PL OK?

Section 14 is up:

I would love to have been able to watch the football game described herein.

I am surprised at the number of people that sailed on the Endurance with Shackleton went back to the South Pole again. I think those experiences would put me off travel forever. :)

I am also surprised by the egalitarianism on this voyage. I always pictured very rigid classes on board ship, especially a British ship, where the officers kept to themselves and didn't get involved in any grunt work. Just goes to show me how wrong I was, at least in regard to this trip.

Listen and enjoy, I hope. No rush - it was quite a lengthy chapter.

Thanks,

M

Chasing penguins, too!
We will always find ways to play in even the most austere circumstances, it seems.

Just one small note:

Out of town for a couple of weeks, memorial service for my brother, but I will have time to do some listening so I should be able to get to this.
