Just one little thing: at 5:18 the volume seems to jump up.

I'm drawn into the story and feeling sorry for the protagonist!

Thank you very much for catching this!

I've messed around with the volume and I hope that part is less jarring now. I've loaded the volume-edited file into chapter 10 in the magic window:
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/whatshallwedo_10_tolstoy_128kb.mp3 and marked it as 'ready for spot PL." --I just now realized that I did a bit of volume leveling in other places and I don't know if it then needs a more general re-listen; I didn't track time spots for leveling. I'm sorry.

There's still a change in tone/pitch that I don't know how to tinker out... I got interrupted at that point and apparently came back sounding different. Let me know if this works now or if I should just re-record this chapter in a single sitting.

Thanks again for listening to all this! And I'm glad the story's pulling you in. This book made sort of a life-changing impression on me when I was a teenager but I haven't been back to it in the intervening 25 years... it's been an interesting return so far.
